As we approach the end of Term 4, it’s incredible to reflect on how quickly the weeks have flown by.
This term has been filled with enriching activities, exciting learning experiences, and moments of connection across the school. From engaging science incursions and the swimming program to creating colourful artwork and exploring history, our classrooms and playgrounds have been buzzing with activity.
We’ve celebrated cultural events like Diwali, and marked significant occasions such as Remembrance Day, fostering a deeper understanding of the world and its rich history.
A highlight of the term was our annual Performing Arts Showcase, where students lit up the stage with their talent and creativity. Centred around the vibrant theme of colours, their breathtaking performances were a testament to their hard work in the lead up to the event.
A very heartfelt thank you to our wonderful Mrs Theobald for your efforts in making the Performing Arts Showcase so successful. Seeing our school community come together to celebrate the Arts was an inspiring reminder of the incredible talent we have at Clyde Grammar.
This year also marks a special milestone as we introduced the Clyde Grammar Excellence Awards for the first time. These prestigious awards and prizes were presented to selected Year 3 and Year 4 students in recognition of their outstanding achievements in areas such as Maths, English, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Sportsmanship, Resilience, and Attendance.
The awards celebrate our students’ commitment to learning, creativity, and character, and we are so proud of their accomplishments.
Finally, a special thank you to our staff, families, and community members who have contributed to making this year so memorable. Your support and involvement enrich our school environment and create lasting experiences for our students.
As we enter the final weeks of the year, let’s celebrate the growth and achievements of our students and look forward to finishing the year with joy and gratitude.
Warm regards,
Leanne Evans
