Clyde Grammar is a coeducational, independent school currently offering year levels from Foundation to Year 5. In 2026, we will offer Foundation to Year 6, and in 2027, we will welcome our first Year 7 cohort as part of the establishment of our Senior School.

Religious education, co-curricular activities & wellbeing?+
Religious Education exploring the Christian faith is a compulsory part of the curriculum. Co-curricular activities and camps are compulsory. Student wellbeing is a central focus at Clyde Grammar, forming the foundation for respectful and supportive relationships across the school community.
Intake year levels?+
Clyde Grammar’s main entry points are Foundation and Year 7. Entry into other year levels is subject to availability.
Which year is my child eligible to commence foundation?+
Clyde Grammar requires that students turn 5 years of age by the end of February in the year they commence Foundation.

When should I submit an application?+
Due to strong demand, we recommend that families submit an Expression of Interest as soon as they decide that Clyde Grammar is their preferred school. Expressions of Interest are accepted from birth.
Are applications considered for other year levels?+
Yes, but only when a current student leaves the school and a vacancy becomes available. In these cases, applications are considered from the waiting list. If no place becomes available, your child’s name will roll forward to the following year level.
Does Clyde Grammar have enrolment priorities?+
Yes. Preference is given to:
Children of staff
Siblings of current students
Children of past students
Siblings of past students who completed their education at Clyde Grammar
Children from families whose values and beliefs align with the Christian ethos of the school
All other applicants in order of application date
How likely is it that my child will be offered a place?+
Enrolment offers depend on availability, assessment of the application, a satisfactory interview, our ability to provide a suitable program, and acceptance of our enrolment terms and conditions.
Are waiting lists static?+
No. Our waiting lists are dynamic. They shift regularly due to changes in family circumstances, year level progression, and priority placements.
Is the $50 application fee refundable?+
No. The application fee is non-refundable.
What happens after I apply?+
Once we receive your application, our enrolments team will confirm receipt. Applications are then added to the waiting list. If selected, families will be contacted for an interview, and a place may be offered subject to availability.
Are school tours available?+
A virtual tour of our Junior School building is available on our website for you to view at any time. The Collaborative Learning Centre is currently under construction, and due for completion mid-2026. Please register your interest for either of the below sessions here, and we’ll contact you with further details once they become available.

What are the school fees?+
Our current fee schedule is available here. Discounts apply for siblings: 10% off for the second child, and 20% off for the third and subsequent children.
What is the school uniform and how much does it cost?+

Applications may be cancelled for the following reasons:
Undeliverable communications (email or post)
No response to correspondence by the deadline
Failure to attend scheduled interviews without rescheduling
Non-payment of confirmation deposits by the due date
Failure to return signed enrolment contracts by the due date Applications can be reinstated, but the application date will reflect the time contact is resumed.
What is the laptop program?+
All students from Year 4 and above are provided with a schoolmanaged laptop under our technology program. A technology levy applies. The program (over a three-year cycle) includes software, support and insurance.
What are the school hours?+
Junior School (Foundation – Year 6 in 2026): 8:45am to 3:10pm
Senior School (starting with Year 7 in 2027): 8:35am to 3:10pm
Is before and after school care available?+
Yes. It is operated by Team Kids. More information and bookings can be found at www.teamkids.com.au.
Will Year 8 be available in 2028?+
Yes. Clyde Grammar will add a new Senior School year level each year, starting with Year 7 in 2027.
Can I apply for Year 7 entry now?+
Yes. Applications are now open for Year 7 in 2027. We encourage early applications.
Will interviews be part of the Year 7 enrolment process?+
Yes. Interviews will be conducted as part of the enrolment process during 2026.
