Belle’s Race to Nationals

One of our Year 4 students, Belle, is representing Victoria in the National Cross Country Championships to be held in Queensland next month, after a stunning second-place finish in the recent State competition.

With the high costs associated in participation, including team entry fees, uniform, and travel, our entire school community united in a week-long fundraising sprint to help Belle reach her goal. From handmade friendship bracelets and lucky dips to a sports-themed dress up day, there has been a wonderful display of generosity and school spirit.

As Belle continues her training in the lead up to the big race, she’s staying grounded with the support of her family, teachers and friends, backed by an entire school community cheering her on.

Supporting Belle is about more than one race – it’s a reflection of the values we teach at Clyde Grammar every day: perseverance, pride, and the strength of community.

Thank you to the families and businesses who purchased a sponsorship package for Belle. Read more about Belle’s journey here.
