The Parents and Friends Committee (PFC) is a group of volunteers made up of parents and friends of past and current Clyde Grammar students.
Our aim is to help build a strong school community by organising fundraising and social events.
Members meet regularly with Principal, Mrs Leanne Evans, to discuss:
- Upcoming school events that may need parent helpers, such as the school’s Annual Book Fair
- Opportunities to hold fundraising events, including Mother’s Day and Father’s Day stalls, raffles and end of term special lunches
- Parent and community social events
- Projects and equipment that would benefit the school and that PFC funds could contribute to. Most recently, this has included a chest freezer to support the growing popularity of Zooper Dooper Fridays
You do not need to be a member of the PFC to get involved. As part of our school community, you can support the PFC in many ways. Whether it is helping at a stall, purchasing raffle tickets or coming along to an event, every contribution helps.
We are also keen to hear from families who may be able to donate items for events. This may be through business connections, such as discounted supplies, raffle prizes or specialist items to support our activities.
To find out more about how you can support PFC events this year, or to become a member of the committee, please contact Donna Rankin at the school office or email clydepfc@gmail.com.
We can’t wait to hear from you.
