It is hard to believe that we are already well into our final term of the school year!
As always, Term 4 is filled with excitement, anticipation and a wide variety of learning experiences and celebrations. Across the school, classrooms have been buzzing with activity as students continue to develop their skills, collaborate, consolidate their learning and demonstrate just how far they have come throughout the year.
Our Years 3-4 students have already enjoyed some memorable adventures, with the Year 3 sleepover and Year 4 Portsea Camp providing exciting opportunities to develop independence, resilience, confidence and friendships.
Experiences such as these encourage students to step outside their comfort zones, embrace new challenges, work together and discover what they are capable of. I am very grateful to the staff who make these programs possible.
Congratulations also to Guntaas, Partap, Belle and Laylah, who represented Clyde Grammar with pride at the Southern Metropolitan Regional Athletics Carnival, with special congratulations to Belle and Laylah on qualifying for the State Primary Athletics Carnival.
Their achievements are shining examples of the rewards that come from perseverance and hard work.
There is much to look forward to over the coming weeks, including our end-of-year Performing Arts Showcase, inaugural Clyde Grammar Art Show, swimming programs, excursions and a range of other special events.
For our Year 6 students, this is a particularly significant time as they prepare to complete their primary school journey. With graduation approaching, there is understandably a mixture of excitement and nervous anticipation about what lies ahead.
This year is especially meaningful as we prepare to welcome our inaugural Year 7 cohort in 2027, marking another important milestone in Clyde Grammar’s growth and development.
While Term 4 is undoubtedly busy, it is also a time to reflect on the progress our students have made, both academically and personally. Growth is not always measured through assessment results; it can also be seen in increased confidence, independence, stronger friendships and a willingness to embrace challenges.
These are all achievements worth celebrating.
As we move towards the end of another school year, I encourage our students to continue approaching each day with enthusiasm, kindness and a commitment to doing their personal best. There is still plenty of learning to be done and many wonderful memories to be made!
