From the Principal

Plenty to celebrate!

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we approach the end of Term 3, I’d like to reflect on the eventful journey we’ve shared. We experienced a multitude of exciting events, most notably the mid-term swimming lessons. I would like to thank parents for actively supporting our swimming program — I recognise the extra effort and dedication this demands from parents and school staff. Seeing the joy on students’ faces and knowing that their water safety skills have improved significantly makes it all worthwhile.

A tapestry of learning moments

Reading through this newsletter, it’s evident that our students have enjoyed many enriching learning experiences. As the weather takes a turn for the better, the children are thoroughly enjoying our sprawling grassed areas and they are embracing the outdoors as an extension of their classrooms.

Community and communication

With the Clyde Grammar community continuing to flourish, I would like to reiterate that we value and encourage open, honest communication. We understand that stress and anxiety can often arise due to speculation or misinformation. Please rest assured that we’re always here to listen, talk and address any queries you have. Your peace of mind matters and we’re committed to fostering an environment of trust and transparency.

LEAD survey participation

I kindly request families who haven’t yet completed the LEAD survey that was emailed to you a few weeks ago to take a moment to share your insights. Your feedback — constructive or positive — is invaluable as we strive for continuous improvement. The survey will be accessible until tomorrow – Friday, 1 September.

Celebrating Fathers and Grandfathers

With Father’s Day being this Sunday, the Clyde Grammar staff joins me in extending warm wishes to all special friends. May your day be celebrated with much love and laughter!

Book Week Dress-up Day is nearly here

The excitement of Book Week is fast approaching and on Friday, 15 September we’d love our students to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. A grand parade will happen at 9.00 am and parents are welcome to stay and enjoy this event.

Thank you to the Clyde Grammar Parents and Friends Committee who have also arranged for students to be able to buy a Subway lunch Meal Deal on the day. The cut-off for Subway orders is 9.00 am on Wednesday, 13 September. Please use this link to place your order.

All funds raised on the day will help us buy more sports equipment for our school.

Warm regards,

Leanne Evans
