From the Principal – March 2026

Following a very busy and rewarding start to the year, it is wonderful to reflect on the many opportunities our students have experienced both inside and outside the classroom. Across all year levels, there has been a strong focus on community, and celebrating the values that make Clyde Grammar such a special place.

Harmony Day

Harmony Day was a highlight this month, with students proudly wearing traditional dress and orange to show their support for inclusiveness and belonging. It was a joyful reminder of the rich diversity within our school community and the importance of ensuring everyone feels welcome and respected.

NAPLAN

I would like to congratulate our Year 3 and Year 5 students on the positive way they approached the recent NAPLAN assessments. They demonstrated resilience and determination throughout the testing period, and I would like to thank our staff for their thoughtful preparation and support.

Year 6 Canberra Camp

We are incredibly proud of our Year 6 students who recently returned from their Canberra Camp. They represented Clyde Grammar with outstanding behaviour and enthusiasm. It was wonderful to hear such positive feedback about our students from members of the public and staff at the venues we visited.

These experiences play such an important role in developing independence, confidence, resilience, and a deeper understanding of Australia’s history and identity within our students.

My sincere thanks to Year 6 staff for the significant time and effort that went into organising the camp, as well as the staff who attended and provided wonderful care and support to students throughout the trip.

District Swimming

Congratulations to the students who represented our school at the District Swimming. Along with their achievements, we are very proud of the sportsmanship displayed throughout the event, and their willingness to challenge themselves.

Colour Fun Run

As the term draws to a close, we look forward to finishing on a high note with our upcoming Colour Fun Run, which is always a memorable event for students. Funds raised from the event will go toward additional sporting equipment for our students.

Thank you to our families for your continued support throughout what has been a very full and exciting term. By working together, we continue to build a strong and vibrant school community.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a joyful and peaceful Easter. May this special time be filled with rest, renewal, and time spent with loved ones. We look forward to welcoming everyone back next term!

Warm regards,

Leanne Evans
