From the Principal – June 2026

As we approach the end of Term 2, it is hard to believe we are already halfway through the 2026 school year.

While visiting classrooms and attending school events throughout the term, I have been reminded of how much growth can happen in just a few short months. Students have asked thoughtful questions, worked through challenges, shared creative ideas and celebrated one another’s successes. These everyday moments are such an important part of school life, and they speak beautifully to the care and commitment within our school community.

I would like to congratulate our Year 5 and Year 6 students who represented Clyde Grammar so proudly at the recent Winter Gala Day – their sportsmanship and effort were outstanding. Special congratulations to our boys’ badminton team for finishing runners up and bringing home our school’s first ever pennant, which is a very exciting milestone!

In other wonderful news, I am delighted to share that our Collaborative Learning Centre is now very close to completion. Last week, staff were given a tour of the building, and everyone enjoyed seeing the wonderful new space taking shape. We look forward to the moment our students and families can see it for themselves. While final works are still being completed, we hope to move in during the school holidays and commence using this fantastic new facility in Term 3.

We are also looking forward to the completion of several other exciting additions, including the Years 3 to 6 playground, the car park extension, the oval and four additional classrooms for our Senior School. Each of these projects represent an important step forward in the continued growth of our school, providing even more opportunities for our students to thrive.

I wish all families a safe and enjoyable holiday break, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back for what promises to be an exciting Term 3.
