So Much to Celebrate!

This term has passed by quickly and was filled with learning, new discoveries and plenty of fun. My heart feels full, and I have a permanent smile on my face since returning from the Year 4 camp.

Witnessing the children embrace new challenges, demonstrate independence and resilience, and create lasting memories together fills me with immense pride and gratitude. Their exemplary behaviour and their kindness and respect towards their peers, teachers and camp staff have left a lasting impression.

This term marked a significant milestone as Clyde Grammar hosted its first cross-country trials. Some students were pleasantly surprised by their running ability and stamina, and others gained some valuable experience in how to pace themselves.

Our Harmony Day celebration was a vibrant highlight at the school, with students dressed in colourful clothing and cultural garments. The parade and dancing are always joyous, uplifting and a delight to watch!

Looking ahead to Term 2, here are a few important reminders:

  • During the first two weeks of Term 2, students may wear the summer or winter uniform exclusively. From Week 3, starting Monday, 29 April, full winter uniform is compulsory, and the sun hat is optional. The sports uniform should still be worn on timetabled sports days.
  • Term 2 commences for students on Tuesday, 16 April.
  • There are opportunities to join the Clyde Grammar Consultative Committee and the Parents and Friends Committee. For further information, please contact Donna at Reception, or refer to our school website.
  • We are eagerly anticipating our Clyde Grammar Colour Run, scheduled for the last day of term on Thursday, 28 March. Parents are warmly invited to join us in cheering on their children!

Thank you for your continued support. On behalf of the entire staff, I wish students and families a blessed Easter and happy holidays.

Warm regards,

Leanne Evans
Principal
