As Term 1 draws to a close, it is inspiring to see the continued enthusiasm and commitment of our students, staff and families. Our school is bursting with energy — from the hands-on learning happening in our classrooms to the fascinating extracurricular activities that enrich every student’s experience at Clyde Grammar.
Our Foundation students have settled beautifully into their first year of school. They’ve demonstrated impressive progress in their literacy and numeracy skills, while building friendships and learning the values that make Clyde Grammar such a special place.
Across all year levels, students have been embracing new challenges. Our Year 1 students have been investigating the fascinating world of mini-beasts, our Year 2 students have been deepening their understanding of sustainability, and our Years 3 to 5 students have been applying their knowledge to real-world problem-solving.
Beyond the classroom, it has been wonderful to see students thriving in our specialist programs and enjoying everything from creative Performing Arts lessons to exciting STEM projects.
Our recent Colour Fun Run was definitely a highlight of the term, bringing together the school community for an afternoon of laughter, teamwork, colour and, of course, that inevitable green slime! A huge thank you to our dedicated teachers and support staff whose hard work and passion make these experiences possible.
I would also like to express my gratitude to our families for your continued support. Your involvement in your child’s education and the wider school community makes a truly meaningful difference.
As we look ahead, I encourage our students to keep challenging themselves, to continue to support one another and to embrace every opportunity to learn and grow. I am incredibly proud of all that we are achieving and look forward to yet another rewarding term together.
Wishing all our students, staff and families a safe and restful school holiday and a joyous Easter.
Warm regards,
Leanne Evans
