Students across all year levels enjoyed hands-on learning in STEM, meaningful reflections in Religion and Values and energetic activities in Health and PE. In Performing Arts, they explored creative expression and performance, building confidence and having fun along the way.
Library

Foundation students have been exploring the work of author Aaron Blabey this term. They have read almost all of the Pig the Pug series and are enjoying many of his other popular books. The students have been identifying rhyming words in the stories and creating their own re-enactments.
STEM/ICT

Year 2 students have been exploring how we see light and colour. They created colour wheels to investigate how the eye processes colour. When spun quickly, the wheels appeared white, demonstrating how white light is actually made up of many colours. This engaging activity deepened their understanding of light and vision.
Religion/Values

In Religion and Values, students learnt that they are made in the image and likeness of God. Year 1 students reflected on what makes them special and wrote about being wonderfully made. Year 2 students explored how they can reflect God’s love through caring, sharing and showing respect to others. They also created self-portraits to celebrate their uniqueness as part of God’s creation.
Health & PE

Guntaas and Belle proudly represented Clyde Grammar at the recent Regional Cross Country event, both delivering outstanding performances. A special congratulations to Belle, who placed 1st and has qualified for the state-level competition.
Meanwhile, Year 5 students have been preparing for the upcoming Interschool Round Robin Day, demonstrating excellent commitment to skill development and teamwork.
Performing Arts

Year 4 students have been enthusiastically exploring slapstick comedy. They learnt about its origins, the exaggerated actions that make it humorous, and how actors use physical expression to entertain. Students have written their own slapstick scripts and are looking forward to performing them for their classmates.
