History has been made as Clyde Grammar opens its new campus in Smiths Lane, Clyde North.
After several years of sharing the facilities of our sister school, Casey Grammar in Cranbourne, families living in Clyde can now access a premium quality Christian education in state-of-the-art facilities.
Principal Leanne Evans says it is an exciting moment for staff, students, families, and the local community.
“After several years of preparation, we are excited to open our beautiful new campus,” she says.
“We are extremely proud of what we have achieved already with our amazing teachers and support staff. Our students and teachers are now creating history as the first to study and work here.”
Ms Evans says Clyde Grammar offers a personable, intimate learning environment which focuses on getting to know each child. It also values its multicultural community.
“We aim to provide a holistic education that engages student, nurtures strong Christian values and enables them to realise their potential and achieve ongoing success,” she says.
“Our overarching mission is to see that each child challenges themselves, believes in their capabilities, achieves success and strives to be the very best version of themselves.”
Clyde Grammar is the first school to open in the 200-hectare master-planned Clyde North community developed as part of the Cardinia Creek South precinct structure plan.
Located at 110 Smiths Lane, Clyde North, it was developed in consultation with the local community to provide a quality, affordable and accessible education.
The ultra-modern layout encompasses classrooms, breakout studios, communal area, a library area, sick bay, and reception.
Outside, it will feature a nature play area, playground, grassed play/sport areas, ball sports court, and a Victorian tram with outdoor seating and shade sails.
