Returning to On-campus Learning

Celebrating Important Milestones!

Children who joined Foundation this year have had an unusual introduction to school life due to COVID-19 restrictions, lockdowns and remote learning, but here at Clyde Grammar we have made sure that successes have been marked and celebrated – even if they are slightly delayed.

Recently our Foundation students celebrated 100 days of schools. Students enjoyed dressing up as a 100 year old person and engaging in activities around the number 100.

Budding Gardeners

Gardening is a healthy, fun activity where students can develop new skills and learn about science and nature from growing their own plants. Students in Foundation P are enjoying learning about different plants and are also growing their own produce. They are growing flowers to attract minibeasts and insects.

The students are having fun being outdoors and love digging in the soil, getting dirty, creating things and watching plants grow.

Life in the Year 1 Classrooms

This term, Year 1 P students are learning about Aboriginal culture. Students enjoyed drawing pictures of traditional Aboriginal camps.

Students enjoy learning about math in a practical hands-on manner by playing mathematically-based games. Math games are a great way to motivate, engage and inspire children while still having fun.

Year 1 B students getting active with some fun indoor sport activities.

Life in the Foundation Classrooms

Students in Foundation P have been participating in a range of literacy, math and arts activities. It’s fantastic having students back on campus learning together in the classroom.
