Learning about Sustainability and Show and Tell

This term Year 2B has continued exploring sustainability and enjoyed sharing what they learnt with the class through Show and Tell.

We have learnt about water cycles (see photo below) and the ways we can recycle at home, use compost bins and how to grow healthy and sustainable vegetable gardens.

Celebrating our Different Cultures

During the past few weeks, we also enjoyed celebrating diversity for Harmony Day. The students in our class shared information relating to cultural celebrations and sporting teams.

We focused on the importance of celebrating together, even though we are all different.

Our students learnt that every single person plays an important part in our school community and the wider community around us.
